As mentioned on Twitter last week, Over the Rainbow just finished a photoshoot for our upcoming Spring 2010 homepage for our main website RainbowJeans.Com. Models for the shoot were provided by Elite Model Management, while showcasing the photography skills of Kat Torgashev. The images turned out great, and we cannot wait for you to see the results! St. Patrick's Day is always an exciting time in Toronto. Celebrations have already begun in some local pubs around the city. The green & gold spirit is starting to rise! FASHION SHOW: U of T's Next Top Model 05 March

UFashions, the fashion arm at the University of Toronto, is hosting their annual "U of T's Next Top Model" fashion show at Tattoo Rock Parlour. For students on campus, tickets are now on sale at the Robarts building from 12PM - 4PM. For everyone else, contact utorontofashion@gmail.com to get your ticket. The fashion show will start at 11PM and is sponsored by Over the Rainbow along with a slew of local stores & cosmetic brands. Wings + Horns is based out of Vancouver, BC and over the past several years, has taken the niche contemporary men's market by storm. All their designs, production and manufacturing is done out of their CYC Design house in Canada, and has paid significant attention to detail, fabric, fit and quality. All the garments from their new Archive S/S 2010 collection are made with 100% organic cotton using tri-blend colour schemes and interesting chain stitch details. TRADESHOW: OTR Attending 100% FRESH @ PROFILE 01 March

As we mentioned in our last Tradeshow post, Over the Rainbow's buyers will be traveling to the Toronto Congress Centre this morning to attend the PROFILE show. This local exhibit is the evolution of what was the 100% FRESH show. In it's new format, PROFILE offers a new innovative platform showcasing the latest apparel and accessories, covering all segments of today’s fashion industry. Aside from the plethora of sales agents and lifestyle, the PROFILE Show is equipped with a central lounge, cappuccino bar, and DJ booth. As mentioned last week, our women's buyers traveled to New York to attend the industry tradeshows taking place in the city. They walked the floors of bigger shows like ENK Coterie as well as it's sister show Designer & Agents (D&A). We found lots of great new brands that will debut for the upcoming Fall 2010 season. Our larger front window display underwent a February makeover, just in time for last weekend's Valentine's Day bonanza.
